Kevin Martin is president of KAS Accounting & Income Tax (“KAS”). At KAS Kevin focuses on tax preparation and tax planning for small business and individuals, financial analysis and CFO project work for small business, ensuring the values of KAS are alive in the organization, and keeping KAS at the forefront of client service.
After graduating from Thomas More College with a BA in Accountancy, Kevin began his career as a small business accountant and then joined a regional bank as a mid-level corporate accountant. During that span, Kevin earned his M.B.A. at the University of Cincinnati with a concentration in finance. Upon earning the M.B.A. Kevin joined the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) as a junior analyst, progressed to Senior Analyst and ultimately Portfolio Manager. At OPERS, Kevin invested billions of dollars in real estate, fixed income, and equity securities. The experience enhanced his financial analysis, GAAP knowledge, and strategic understanding. Further, Kevin has been involved in multiple small business startups.
While not working, Kevin teaches CPA review classes for Becker, volunteers as a CASA Guardian ad Litem, and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.

Kristy has been a familiar face around KAS since 1999. She started out as a seasonal tax preparer and became a permanent fixture in May of 2010. Her primary responsibilities at KAS include general accounting, bookkeeping, individual and business tax preparation.
She earned her bachelor’s degree specializing in Accounting from DeVry University.
She resides in Hilliard and during her free time she is spending time with her daughter.
